Founded in 1996 the club began with just a handful of runners who were mostly men.

Over the years the club has grown strongly with a current membership of over 275 active members, most of whom are women.

We meet for training three times a week, running in groups depending on speed and the mood on the night or morning.

Our groups cater from everything from walk-run, through the social paces and up to county athlete level speeds.

England Athletics Club Standards

Club Standards are a checklist of legal legislation and Sport England’s code of sports governance to help all clubs understand what they should have in place for good governance and duty of care.

Good governance is the foundation of a well-run club that protects our club’s values and reputation whilst looking after the club’s funds and people.

As part of our affiliation with England Athletics the club is proud to fully adhere to their Club Standards.
